Todd Reid

Managing Director

With 20+ years helping its leaders solve the problems of the most diverse, chaotic and exciting state in the country, Todd Reid knows Florida.

Reid served United States Senator Marco Rubio as Deputy Chief of Staff and State Director for over 11 years.  During that time, he was the senior staffer responsible for all of Rubio’s outreach and constituent services operations throughout the Sunshine State.  Coordinating the Senator’s and his office’s official activities with local community organizations, non-profits, Florida corporations and the state’s business community, international consulates, Florida State Cabinet officers and the Florida State Legislature, Reid provided significant daily input on policy development and communications with Washington-based senior staff as they worked on issues affecting Florida and elsewhere.

Reid also oversaw Rubio’s Constituent Services operation that assisted hundreds of thousands of Floridians during Rubio’s first 11 years.  Bringing excellence to handling standard day-to-day constituent issues, in addition to recovering from eight hurricanes, multiple events overseas, and the impacts of some of the nation’s most tragic recent events, Rubio’s constituent services team was recognized as Best in the Nation in 2019 by the Congressional Management Foundation.

Prior to 2011, Reid served at the highest levels of Florida state government where policy, politics and communications intersect.  In senior staff roles in the Florida House of Representatives – Communications Director, Director of the House Majority Office and Deputy Chief of Staff- he developed messaging and worked with media throughout Florida and the nation, worked closely with legislative leadership to draw up planning and strategy, and served as a sounding board and advisor to five Florida House Speakers.  Reid also worked in the Florida executive branch assisting with hurricane recovery across cabinet offices after the state faced a record number of storms in 2004 & 2005.

Prior to arriving in Florida, Reid worked in political campaigns in Virginia, as well as serving in the Commonwealth’s Governor’s Office.  In 1999, he managed the Governor’s successful efforts to elect a Republican majority to the Virginia General Assembly for the first time in modern history.  He also served as Southeastern Regional Political Director for the Republican National Committee.

Reid earned his bachelor’s degree from Hampden-Sydney College.  He and his wife live in Orlando, Florida.
