Firehouse Strategies Announces New Additions to Team

Washington, D.C. – Firehouse Strategies today announced three new additions to its advocacy and public relations teams. The three new team members continue the public affairs firm’s rapid growth since its founding in 2016.

Matt Manda joins Firehouse Strategies as Vice President. Most recently, he worked as the Director of Media and Communications for the Media Group of America. Prior to that, Manda served as Press Secretary to Congressman Kevin Yoder, overseeing the Congressman’s press operations in Washington, D.C.  In 2008, Manda served as Political Director for Jerry Moran’s successful campaign for the U.S. Senate, where he executed the political strategy that helped Moran achieve victory both in the Primary and General Elections. Manda has also worked as the Director of Marketing and Communications for the Kansas Department of Labor, managing the Departments communications operations on behalf of the state’s Secretary of Labor. Manda is a graduate of the University of Kansas.

Alex Kuehler is now Project Director for Firehouse Strategies. Prior to joining Firehouse, he worked in Congressman Bill Flores’ office. Kuehler coordinated grassroots efforts for a statewide campaign in Missouri and served as a Regional Field Director for the Republican Party of Florida, leading the Party’s ground game in Southwest Florida on behalf of Senator Marco Rubio’s successful re-election campaign. Kuehler also served as the Political Operations Manager for Rubio’s presidential campaign, where he assisted in managing the Campaigns ballot access efforts and also helped organize rallies and events attended by Senator Rubio nationwide. Kuehler is a graduate of Texas A&M University, College Station.

Sarah Williams is the newest Associate at Firehouse Strategies. She’s recently completed internships at the Heritage Foundation, Republican National Committee, the United States House of Representatives Republican Conference, and the Office of Senator John McCain. In 2016, Williams served as a Parliamentary Intern for the Office of the RT Hon Boris Johnson MP in London, England. Williams is a graduate of The Catholic University of America.
