Graphic Designer

Firehouse Strategies is seeking a full-time Graphic Designer to join our rapidly growing firm. Working closely with Firehouse’s leadership, client servicing, and business development teams, this position will concept and design persuasive graphics for the firm’s client engagements, business development, and marketing activities.

The successful candidate for this role will have extensive knowledge of graphic design and will excel in a fast-paced, fun, and collaborative environment. This position will be based out of Firehouse’s Washington, D.C. office, where team members are in the office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and remote Monday and Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Design captivating graphics for clients’ digital advertising campaigns
  • Craft high-level graphics and logos for clients’ websites, social media platforms, and print materials
  • In coordination with the firm’s client servicing teams, oversee design schedules, workflow, and work product for client deliverables
  • Create persuasive graphics for the firm’s business development presentations, proposals, case studies, and marketing materials
  • Oversee design creation for Firehouse’s website content and social media posts

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience creating digital and print designs and working in a role related to the primary duties outlined above
  • In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite platforms, including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
  • Proficiency in Canva and PowerPoint
  • Portfolio of design work product that can be shown during the firm’s interview process
  • Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to take initiative
  • Strong track record of multitasking, prioritizing assignments, and meeting deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with team members
  • Understand and value the importance of attention to detail and organizational skills
