Chandler Smith Costello

Costello comes to Firehouse Strategies with federal government, Capitol Hill, and campaign experience.

Most recently, Costello served as Deputy Director of Public Affairs for the Securities and Exchange Commission. Prior to her work at the Commission, Costello served nearly ten years as a communicator on Capitol Hill. She worked for Senate Minority Whip John Thune (R-SD) as national communications director in his Whip office and as communications director for the Senate Republican Conference. She was also communications director for Sen. Dean Heller in his official office and for his 2012 Senate campaign.

Costello also has experience in the private, non-profit and trade association sectors, including as vice president of government communications at the American Hotel and Lodging Association.

Costello received her B.A. at Vanderbilt University.
