Director of Business Development

Sarah is Firehouse Strategies’ director of business development, where she manages all business development efforts and assists in marketing the agency to key audiences. Sarah previously worked at Edelman as an account supervisor within Edelman’s Corporate Affairs Practice, where she supported many high profile clients in the development and execution of communications campaigns as the day-to-day lead, oversaw project management for all accounts, and assisted in new business acquisitions

Prior to joining Edelman, Sarah worked for the Florida Cattle Ranchers (FCR) as the director of brand strategy and development and led all marketing and communications initiatives, including media relations, paid media, and email marketing, for the cattle supply and beef company. Sarah also developed and managed FCR’s first-ever direct sales program.

Sarah’s rich communications and project management backgrounds have enabled her to effectively lead workstreams, from planning to execution, to exceed client goals and achieve measurable results.

A true Florida native, Sarah earned her bachelor’s degree in public relations and business and master’s degree in mass communication with a specialization in digital strategy from the University of Florida.
